SPY
For one of my university modules, I had to create a design document. SPY is the game I designed. A cold war management sim with Stealth gameplay and turn-based combat.
I took inspiration from sports management games, as I felt there aren't many games like it that aren't sports based, that have two distinct gameplay elements in the management, and moment to moment gameplay.
I had some amazing art done for the cover title by my good friend James Thompson after I had created and submitted my GDD.

I did work on a small prototype for another project, however due to a corrupted drive, I no longer have the project files and therefore no build. Alas, all I have is this short video

Essentially this was the stealth system, with the start of the turn based system. As the player moved, the computer calculated where all the tiles that the player had enough energy to move to. And then once a guard was alerted, the computer would calculate the nearest tiles for each character and move them to said tile.
I do plan on making this once again in the future, and properly fleshing the system out.
However a valuable lesson was learnt with this small prototype: Back Everything Up!
